Vehicle Laws - School Bus Passenger Safety Act

Synopsis:

Authorizing a law enforcement agency to issue through the mail a citation providing for a civil penalty based on specified reports of school bus operators concerning failure to stop for a school vehicle; providing for adjudication of civil infractions before the District Court; establishing a maximum civil penalty; authorizing the MVA to refuse to register or reregister, or to suspend the registration of, a vehicle under certain circumstances; providing for a form for school bus operators to use to report a violation; etc.
