State Tobacco Tax - Developmental Disabilities - Waiting List Equity Fund

Synopsis:

Increasing the tobacco tax rate from 36 cents to 86 cents per package of 11 to 20 cigarettes; requiring the Comptroller to distribute the additional tobacco tax revenues resulting from the increased rate to the Waiting List Equity Fund for services from the Developmental Disabilities Administration; providing that moneys distributed to the Fund from the tobacco tax are supplemental and are not intended to take the place of funding that would otherwise be appropriated; etc.
