Alcoholic Beverage Tax - Substance Abuse Programs - Funding

Synopsis:

Altering State tax rates to $3.25 per gallon for distilled spirits, 73 cents per gallon for wine, and 18 cents per gallon for beer for alcoholic beverages sold in Maryland; and requiring the Comptroller to distribute a certain portion of the alcoholic beverage tax revenues to the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration to fund substance abuse programs.
