Synopsis:

Authorizing in Prince George's County the designation by the County Director of Corrections of correctional officers to have the powers of a law enforcement officer on property of a correctional facility; allowing a designated correctional officer to make warrantless arrests; applying the law enforcement officer's bill of rights and the requirements of the Police Training Commission to designated correctional officers; and requiring regulations on training and qualifications.
