Hospitals - Termination of Employees - Prohibition

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a hospital from terminating the employment of an employee of the hospital without good cause; authorizing a terminated employee to appeal a termination decision to the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene; requiring the employee, before appealing the termination decision, to exhaust any grievance procedure within the hospital; authorizing the employee to appeal the termination decision to the Secretary if the hospital does not render a final decision within a specified period of time; etc.
