Insurance - Motor Vehicles - Reimbursement for the Rental of Specially Equipped Motor Vehicles

Synopsis:

Requiring an insurer that issues, sells, or delivers a motor vehicle insurance policy in the State that covers a motor vehicle that is specially equipped for the transportation of or operation by an individual with a disability, upon request of the applicant or insured, to make available for the appropriate premium at a specified time a specified reimbursement rate that allows an insured to rent a similarly equipped motor vehicle if the policy provides for reimbursement of the costs of a rental motor vehicle.
