Entitled:
Working Parents Opportunity Act

Synopsis:

Creating the Working Parents Opportunity Program; providing that the Program be administered by the Maryland Higher Education Commission; providing for the purpose of the Program; authorizing governing bodies that include local community colleges to create job training and education programs to increase the economic well-being of working parents in low-income families; providing for the funding of the Program and the administration of the moneys allocated for the Program; etc.
