Health Benefit Plans - Coverage for Hair Prostheses for Hair Loss Resulting from Chemotherapy or Radiation Treatment for Cancer

Synopsis:

Requiring specified insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations to provide coverage for a hair prosthesis under specified circumstances; limiting the cost of a hair prosthesis for an enrollee or insured whose hair loss results from chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer to $350; requiring that the hair prosthesis must be prescribed by the oncologist in attendance; etc.
