Synopsis:

Prohibiting information obtained solely from specified campaign documents filed with an election board from being sold or used to solicit contributions or for commercial purposes; making an exception; authorizing a candidate or political committee to ascertain whether specified campaign fund-raising information is being used in a proscribed manner; requiring a specified warning for electronic distribution of contributor data; requiring the State Board to adopt regulations; establishing penalties for violations of the Act; etc.
