Synopsis:

Establishing that the prohibition against a person possessing a portable pager on public school property does not apply to students; creating exceptions to the application of the Act by authorizing or requiring school authorities to prohibit a student from using or possessing a portable phone on public school property if the student has been arrested for a reportable offense, the use or possession of the portable phone disrupts school functions, or the portable phone has been found to be connected with criminal activity; etc.
