Film and Video Productions - Tax Incentives

Synopsis:

Requiring the Maryland Film Office to obtain free use of State and local government buildings and sites for location filming on a specified basis; providing sales and use tax exemptions for specified property and services for use in qualified film or video productions, as defined; exempting specified personal property used in qualified film or video productions from property tax; allowing a State income tax credit for specified wages paid to qualified Maryland film or video production employees; etc.
