Entitled:
Agriculture - Interim Protection Act

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from expanding swine production over 250 swine or conducting new swine production; exempting dairy production from the moratorium; requiring the Department of Agriculture, the Department of the Environment, and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to conduct studies on intensive animal production; imposing a civil fine of not more than $100 per unit of two swine for a violation of the moratorium; etc.
