Graveyard Desecration - Discovered Human Remains and Disturbed Burial Sites

Synopsis:

Requiring an individual who discovers a disturbed burial site to report the discovery to a law enforcement agency within 24 hours; requiring a law enforcement agency to report to the Maryland Historical Trust if remains are found on State-owned land or by an individual working for a professional archaeologist; requiring appropriate authorities to take specified actions upon notification of the location of the disturbed burial site; authorizing the establishment of local burial sites advisory boards; etc.
