Education - Maryland Academic Intervention Program

Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Academic Intervention Program; creating the Maryland Academic Intervention Program Fund; requiring the Governor to include a specified amount in the annual State budget for the Fund for specified fiscal years; requiring schools to select students for the Program based on their performance on specified tests; requiring the State Board to establish criteria for evaluating the Program; requiring counties to prepare specified reports by specified dates; etc.
