Creation of a State Debt - Baltimore City - The Walters Art Gallery

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $1,500,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Trustees of The Walters Art Gallery for the planning, design, construction, and capital equipping of a building and parking garage at the corner of Cathedral and Centre Streets in Baltimore, for storage, art handling, a premier art conservation laboratory, and a new major exhibition space, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; etc.
