State Budget - General Fund Surplus - Appropriation to the Transportation Trust Fund

Synopsis:

Requiring the Governor, in the fiscal year after the second fiscal year in which there is a General Fund surplus that exceeds $25 million, to appropriate from the General Fund to the Transportation Trust Fund at least 75% of the unappropriated general funds to be used by the Maryland Department of Transportation for the construction of new highways, roads, and bridges in the State.
