Unemployment Insurance - Eligibility for Benefits - Birth or Adoption of Child

Synopsis:

Expanding eligibility for unemployment benefits to individuals who voluntarily leave work immediately following the birth or adoption of a child to provide the primary care for the child; providing that the birth or adoption of a child may constitute good cause for voluntarily leaving work in specified situations; providing for the period of time during which these individuals may receive unemployment benefits and the amount of those benefits; etc.
