Children's Health Program Expansion Act of 2000

Synopsis:

Expanding eligibility for the Children and Families Health Care Program to children under a private option plan; requiring that individuals enrolled in the Program receive health benefits through an employer-sponsored health benefit plan or a managed care organization; establishing criteria for approval of an employer-sponsored health benefit plan; requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to perform specified administrative duties; requiring parents and guardians to pay a family contribution; etc.
