Synopsis:

Requiring the State to pay specified amounts in the 2001 fiscal year to specified county boards of education in distressed counties for additional educational assistance; and requiring the State to pay specified amounts in the 2001 fiscal year to the New Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners and to the Prince George's County Board of Education in those distressed jurisdictions for additional educational assistance.
