Synopsis:

Prohibiting false claims against the State; providing penalties for making false claims against the State; authorizing a person other than the State to file a civil action on behalf of the State against a person who makes a false claim; providing for remedies under a civil action; requiring the State to investigate a civil action alleging a false claim; authorizing the State to proceed with the action with or without the person that initiated the action; prohibiting retaliatory actions against employees; etc.
