Public Utilities - One-Call Systems - Information on Underground Facilities

Synopsis:

Requiring an owner of an underground facility to submit written or electronic documentation of the location, extent, and specified depth of the facility to specified one-call systems that allow a person to use a one-number telephone utility protection system; requiring one-call systems to maintain a database system of information regarding the facilities of its owner-members; requiring the systems to make the information regarding underground facilities available within 48 hours to a person proposing an excavation or demolition;
