Synopsis:

Requiring specified cable operators to provide broadband Internet access transport services to any requesting Internet service provider on specified terms and conditions; prohibiting specified restrictions on content by a cable operator; allowing specified persons to enforce the provisions of the Act through a civil action seeking specified remedies; allowing a local franchising authority to enforce the provisions of the Act in a specified manner; etc.
