Health Maintenance Organizations - Enrollees and Subscribers - Payments to Nonparticipating Providers

Synopsis:

Altering the scope of a provision that enrollees and subscribers of health maintenance organizations (HMOs) are not liable to health care providers for covered services to be applicable to health care providers under written contract with the HMO; altering the scope of provisions prohibiting the collection or attempt to collect money from enrollees or subscribers under specified circumstances to be applicable to health care providers under written contract with the HMO; etc.
