Electricity Regulation - Renewable Portfolio Standard

Synopsis:

Requiring the Public Service Commission to establish a renewable portfolio standard to apply to all retail electricity products sold in the State, at specified levels in specified years; requiring the granting of credits for electricity generated from specified sources; providing for the reporting, verification, and enforcement of specified credits and requirements; stating the intent of the General Assembly; and defining and altering specified terms.
