Interexchange Telecommunications Carriers - Customer Rights

Synopsis:

Providing standing for a customer of an interexchange telecommunications carrier to bring suit in an appropriate court, notwithstanding a contrary contractual provision; requiring a carrier to file a specified tariff schedule and to provide specified notice to affected customers before specified price increases may take effect; specifying that customers may not be required to pay for specified increases; requiring carriers to refund specified amounts under a specified circumstance; etc.
