Telephone Lifeline Service - Enhanced Enrollment

Synopsis:

Requiring the Public Service Commission (PSC) to adopt specified regulations in order to enhance enrollment in the telephone lifeline service by specified methods; requiring the Departments of Human Resources, Housing and Community Development, and Health and Mental Hygiene, under a specified circumstance, to assist the PSC; authorizing specified memoranda of understanding; defining "enhanced enrollment"; and amending the definition of "eligible subscriber".
