Reduction of Greenhouse Gases - Establishment of a Registry - Joint Study and Report

Synopsis:

Requiring the Departments of the Environment and Natural Resources, and the Maryland Energy Administration, in consultation with a legislative advisory panel, to study and report to the General Assembly by January 1, 2003 on specified issues related to the reduction of greenhouse gases and the establishment of a specified registry; providing for the establishment of a legislative panel; authorizing a member of the panel to receive specified reimbursements; and providing for necessary staffing.
