Maryland Insurance Administration - Program Evaluation

Synopsis:

Extending to July 1, 2012, the evaluation of the Maryland Insurance Administration under the provisions of the Maryland Program Evaluation Act; transferring the Insurance Fraud Division from the Administration to the Department of State Police; eliminating insurance form and rate filing and examination fees; requiring the Insurance Administration to recover the administrative expense of collecting the insurance premium tax; requiring the Commissioner of the Insurance Administration to establish the insurance fraud prevention fee in regulation; etc.
