Ethics Law - Lobbying by Nonprofit Entities

Synopsis:

Exempting under specified circumstances specified nonprofit entities and officials, or employees of specified nonprofit entities, from the requirement to register with the State Ethics Commission as a regulated lobbyist; specifying expense and compensation thresholds for nonprofit entities over which registration as a regulated lobbyist is required; and establishing that nonprofit entities, officials, and employees that engage in specified activity must register as a regulated lobbyist.
