Nursing Students - State Income Tax Credit for Tuition Paid

Synopsis:

Allowing a credit against the State income tax for 50% of the tuition paid by an individual for an education program leading to licensure in nursing, subject to a maximum credit of $2,000 for any taxable year; limiting the credit to the State income tax for the taxable year; and providing that any unused credit may not be carried over to any other taxable year.
