Maryland Energy Administration - Home Energy Rating Certificates

Synopsis:

Allowing a person to apply to the Maryland Energy Administration for a home energy rating certificate providing a standardized evaluation of a home's energy efficiency and expected energy costs; requiring the Administration to provide a home energy rating certificate to an applicant who submits evidence of a home energy rating from a qualified provider; requiring the Administration to establish guidelines and standards for home energy rating providers; authorizing the Administration to charge a fee; etc.
