Controlled Dangerous Substances - Prescription Drug Monitoring Program

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to establish an electronic monitoring program of controlled dangerous substances prescribed in the State; requiring dispensers of controlled dangerous substances to report to the Department; requiring specified data to be included in the report; requiring that the data be transmitted in an electronic format; authorizing the Department to provide the data to specified individuals; prohibiting authorized individuals who receive the data from providing the information to anyone else; etc.
