Maryland Water Conservation Act

Synopsis:

Requiring specified public water systems and sewage treatment plants to include a description of water conservation practices when applying for a new or expanded water appropriation or wastewater discharge permit; requiring the Department of the Environment to issue, by no later than October 1, 2003, to public water systems and sewage treatment plants guidelines on best management practices for improving water conservation; etc.
