Family Day Care Providers - Adult to Child Ratio - Home Safety Enhancements

Synopsis:

Altering the age of children for which a family day care provider is required to maintain a specified adult to child ratio; requiring sprinklers, specified smoke detectors, and other specified safety enhancements in a provider's home in order to care for 2 children under the age of 18 months and a third child between 18 and 24 months; requiring the Department of Human Resources to adopt regulations with regard to additional evacuation training for specified providers; etc.
