Police and Court Records - Nonviolent Crimes - Expungement

Synopsis:

Authorizing a person who was convicted of a specified crime that was not more than one felony and that was not a crime of violence and who completed the sentence imposed for the conviction, including probation, to petition for the expungement of specified records maintained by the State pertaining to the conviction; and authorizing a petition for expungement to be filed immediately after the completion of the sentence.
