Vehicle Laws - Distracted Driving

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a driver of a motor vehicle that is in motion from being distracted by engaging in specified activities; providing that a driver may use a mobile telephone or electronic device under specified circumstances; establishing that a violation of driving while distracted is not a moving violation for the purpose of assessing points; requiring a law enforcement officer who makes a specified report to include information relating to driving while distracted; etc.
