Vehicle Laws - Distracted Driving and Use of Wireless Communication Devices While Driving - Prohibitions

Synopsis:

Establishing the offense of distracted driving; prohibiting a driver from using the driver's hands to use an interactive wireless communication device; prohibiting a driver of a school vehicle that is in motion and is carrying passengers from using an interactive wireless communication device; prohibiting a holder of a learner's permit from driving while using an interactive wireless communication device; and providing for exceptions to the prohibitions of the Act.
