Synopsis:

Providing that members of the Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System who were not eligible to participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Program for 5 years because they had more than 25 years of service credit are eligible to participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Program; providing the period of time these members may participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Program; requiring that these members complete and submit forms to the Board of Trustees for the State Retirement and Pension System; etc.
