Oil Discharge - Groundwater Contamination - Notification

Synopsis:

Requiring the Maryland Department of the Environment to provide a specified notice to the appropriate local health department upon a finding by the Department of specified contaminants in groundwater samples; requiring a local health department to provide property owners located within one-half mile of a site found to be contaminated with specified amounts of specified chemicals with a specified notice; and requiring a person responsible for a specified oil discharge to be liable for the costs of providing a specified notice.
