Medical Injury Compensation - Claimant Recovery

Synopsis:

Providing that a person having a claim against a health care provider for damages due to a medical injury occurring on or after a specified date is entitled to a specified amount of the money recovered; providing that an attorney who violates the provisions of the Act is subject to disbarment, suspension, or other disciplinary action; providing for the application of specified provisions of the Act; defining a specified term; etc.
