Criminal Law - Sexual Acts with Inmates in Correctional and Juvenile Facilities - Penalties

Synopsis:

Prohibiting specified employees from engaging in specified sexual acts with inmates of specified correctional and juvenile facilities; requiring that a person who violates the Act by engaging in sexual contact with an inmate be guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction be subject to imprisonment or a fine or both; and requiring that a person who violates the Act by engaging in vaginal intercourse or a sexual act with an inmate be guilty of a felony and on conviction be subject to imprisonment.
