Synopsis:

Repealing a specified tax on premiums applicable to specified health maintenance organizations and managed care organizations; repealing a specified requirement relating to the reporting of gross receipts by managed care organizations; altering a specified source of revenue to the Maryland Medical Professional Liability Insurance Rate Stabilization Fund; altering specified distributions in specified fiscal years from the Fund to the Medical Assistance Program Account and the Rate Stabilization Account in the Fund; etc.
