Entitled:
Benefits and Services for Individuals Who Are Incarcerated or Institutionalized

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to suspend Maryland Medical Assistance Program benefits for specified individuals who are incarcerated or who are admitted to an institution for the treatment of mental disease; and prohibiting the Department from terminating Program benefits for specified individuals based on the incarceration of the individual or the admission of the individual to an institution for the treatment of mental disease.
