Entitled:
Landlord and Tenant - Termination of Lease - Limitation of Liability for Rent

Synopsis:

Limiting the liability of a tenant for rent under a residential lease to no more than 2 months' rent if the tenant vacates the leased premises due to a medical condition; requiring a tenant to provide a landlord a specified certification from a physician and a specified notice of termination to qualify for the limitation of liability for rent; providing that the Act does not apply to a tenant under a residential lease under specified circumstances; etc.
