Real Property - Residential Dwellings - Notice and Opportunity to Repair Construction Defects

Synopsis:

Establishing a notice procedure for a homeowner or an association to comply with no later than 90 days before bringing an action against a contractor for damages to a dwelling or personal property based on a construction defect claim; requiring a claimant to allow a contractor to inspect a dwelling and to provide evidence to a contractor regarding an alleged defect; requiring a contractor to respond in a specified manner to the claimant's defect notice no later than 30 days after inspection or receipt of evidence; etc.
