Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to adopt specified regulations or guidelines that develop and implement a policy requiring continuing care retirement community entrance deposits to be considered an available resource for determining Medicaid eligibility; and requiring specified regulations or guidelines to be applied prospectively from the effective date of the Act.
