Public Safety - Volunteer Company Assistance Fund - State Budget

Synopsis:

Clarifying that a grant from the Volunteer Company Assistance Fund must be matched by at least 30% of the amount of the grant; limiting loans from the Fund to 75% of the total cost of equipment or facilities being purchased; altering the application and approval process for grants and loans from the Fund; altering requirements for an annual report on grants and loans made from the Fund; expressing legislative intent related to appropriations to and from the Fund; etc.
