Public Health - Medical Laboratories - Inspection, Information Sharing, and Whistleblower Protection

Synopsis:

Requiring that inspections of medical laboratories be unannounced; authorizing the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to conduct announced inspections; authorizing employees of medical laboratories to disclose specified information to the Secretary; requiring the Secretary to develop and disseminate a document informing persons who work in a medical laboratory of the manner in which to report; requiring the posting of the document in a conspicuous place; etc.
