Higher Education - Teacher Education Reading Programs - Alignment with Federal Law

Synopsis:

Requiring public institutions of higher education in the State to provide a specified teacher education reading curriculum and revise teacher education courses to emphasize specified elements; prohibiting a nonpublic institution of higher education from receiving specified State aid unless the institution provides a specified teacher education reading curriculum and revises its teacher education courses to emphasize specified elements; etc.
