Public Health - Mercury-Free Vaccines - Requirements

Synopsis:

Prohibiting individuals from being vaccinated with vaccines containing specified amounts of mercury per dose on or after January 1, 2007; prohibiting individuals from being vaccinated or injected with vaccines or other products containing any amount of mercury on or after June 1, 2009; granting the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene authority to authorize the use of vaccines that may contain mercury in the event of the threat or occurrence of a chemical or biological terrorist incident or public health emergencies; etc.
